Aldine Middle School Tournament (September 15th, 2012)
To my mind, this was the first major scholastic chess tournament (160+ players) held after summer. Congratulations are in order to Village School for taking 1st place in the Elementary Section with an incredible team score of 16.5 points out of a possible 20 points. Despite having only 8 students in the Elementary Section, TH Rogers brought home the 3rd place trophy! Great job everyone!
