Quite a large turnout – 214 players. The Championships Section, 100s, and 200s showed some stiff competition with several team members from the same schools having to battle it out for the individual bragging rights in the last rounds. The Village School took top honors in the Elementary Championships with 18 out of a possible 20 teams points! Excellent job team. TH Rogers took 2nd place with 14.5 team points. In the Middle School Section, TH Rogers took 1st place! I am very happy to see that many of my students got 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their divisions. Several students picked up 100-200 ratings points, but more importantly, were able to get more experience under their belt. I couldn’t be happier and I know everyone is working hard and getting ready for the US Class Championships at the end of this month and the Texas Grade K-12 Championships next month.
